Settlement Services for Immigrant and Refugee Seniors

Settlement services designed to provide settlement support to older adult immigrants and refugees over the age of 55.

Through various activities, the Settlement Services for Immigrants and Refugee Older Adults provides social and learning opportunities for immigrant and refugee adults, starting from 55 years of age. The program encourages their participation in community events, provides assistance in filling-out applications, delivers workshops and presentations, organizes field trips to local attractions, and more. The program now offers yoga classes, English as an Additional Language classes, conversation groups, and computer training for seniors.
