Foreign-language Voiceovers
As a
professional language and translation provider,
MOSAIC Language Services has several offerings related to
foreign-language voiceovers:
1. Transcription
If your script
needs to be translated to another language, our experienced translators
can transcribe audio and video tapes in 64 languages.
2. Time Synchronization
When translated
text is spoken, it’s usually longer than its source. To ensure the two
match up, our translators compare the spoken translation to the
original English piece. The final product – a translated script
tailored specifically to the production – can save valuable studio
time.
3. Coaching
In-studio
translators act as studio directors/coaches in the absence of a
production assistant who understands the language in the script. The
presence of a translator during taping aids in fine-tuning timing and
resolving last-minute issues in pronunciation or meaning.
4. Voice/Language Experts
Expert language
consultants, most with an understanding of studio-production methods,
can help you record in-studio or stage voice-work.
